The Barnstable County Regional Commissioners have approved some 40 thousand dollars for the enhancement of the Cape Cod Welcome Center.
That welcome center handled 32 thousand people in a four-month period last season.
Commissioners committed to a working relationship with the Cape Cod National Seashore on wildfire planning, zoning issues and enhancing the region’s resilience in dealing with climate change.
And Commissioners also approved some 13 million dollars in borrowing for the county’s AquiFund which will provide low of no interest loans for septic systems and connections.
Commissioners also have approved a resolution against the gun range that is being planned and will write to the EPA addressing their concerns and opposition.
