The co-owner of the Vineyard Wind project is accepting applications for fishermen who are impacted by the farm's offshore operations.
Avangrid officials have announced the Fisheries Compensatory Mitigation Program, which will provide a 90-day window for fishermen to qualify.
They will not need to demonstrate economic impact from Vineyard Wind 1 to receive payments, but must have fished in the lease area for at least three years between 2016 and 2022.
The program deadline is June 3rd.
