Police have charged a motorist with fleeing the scene of an accident in West Yarmouth.
The incident took place late Friday night when authorities encountered a vehicle engulfed in flames.
No one was inside the car, and the blaze was quickly put out.
There were no reports of injuries.
Officers were able to trace the driver, 42-year-old Arthur Garabrant the Third of South Yarmouth to a nearby home.
In addition to leaving the scene,
Garabrant is charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation.
