The Steamship Authority says it raked in more than eleven-million-bucks between its opening days for online summer reservations on each of its ferry routes.
Numbers revealed at Monday's board meeting show that the Valentine's Day opening for summer travel on the Vineyard route generated about 25-thousand transactions worth about six-point-seven-million-bucks in revenue.
The Nantucket route's opening the previous week saw nearly 84-hundred transactions worth about four-point-four-million.
The Authority says most of the busiest weekends are already booked at or near capacity.
