Brewster officials say they expect to receive 3-point-5 million dollars in funding to protest two Cape Cod Sea Camps properties.
The money comes through pledges in a partnership with Mass Audubon and the Brewster Conservation Trust.
Two million dollars of the funds will put in place a conservation restriction on ten acres of coastal habitat while offering education programs, a nature center, and cabin space for seasonal employees.
The remainder will set up a guaranteed restriction on 85-percent of the Long Pond property. The proposals are to be presented before the Select Board at their Thursday meeting.
