A body camera policy for Bourne's Housing Authority has still not been put in place.
The matter came out of an alleged June 2021 sexual assault against an elderly resident, who charged an authority employee had attacked her.
The employee was charged with rape and assault, but the case was dismissed due to lack of evidence.
The following year, the authority set up a policy to require body cameras for all staff when entering a unit, but that policy has never been put in place.
Some residents raised concerns about privacy issues, and the policy guidelines remain under further review.
