Glare Of The Sun Partial Cause Of Route 6 Crash

A five-vehicle accident Wednesday caused a backup of several miles along Route 6.

State police say the crash in occurred at the Route 149 intersection in Marstons Mills at around 7:45 a.m.

A tractor-trailer and four other vehicles were involved. Eastbound traffic on Route 6 was held up for about one hour.

One person was taken to an area hospital with undetermined injuries.

The glare of the sun appears to have been a contributing factor in the crash.
