House Speaker Ron Mariano is expressing concerns over the state's ability to continue funding its shelter system.
Mariano is not criticizing Governor Maura Healey's plan to use surplus state money to cover soaring shelter costs in the short term.
However, Mariano says there are concerns with continuing to provide huge sums of money for the program as state revenues drop.
Mariano says there is still no bill before the House to put the governor's shelter funding plan into action.
