Officials with power company Eversource say they are ready for the next winter storm as it moves on the Cape and Islands this afternoon and Wednesday.
In a statement, the company says it is drawing on crews from outside the region to assist with potential outages.
They urge customers to steer clear of downed wires and call 911 if any are spotted.
Outages are to be reported online or by contacting Eversource at 800-592-2000.
