New Year- New Laws In Massachusetts

Several new state laws are now in effect in Massachusetts.

Among these is a tax relief measure that gives back 561-million-dollars for the fiscal year, and could grow to one-billion-dollars in impact by 2027.

Dental insurance rates are now regulated, with companies required to spend at least 83 percent of premiums on member expenses and quality improvements.

The archery season for deer and wild turkey was extended, so all Wildlife Management Zones are now on the same schedule, from the first full week of October to the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
