Two stranded dolphins returned to the ocean on Tuesday, thanks to an effort by rescuers from several groups.
The International Fund for Animal Welfare received two separate incident reports for the Risso's dolphins, also known as gray dolphins.
The first was at Ryder's Beach in Truro on Monday night; the adult female spent the night on the beach before it could be transported back to the water.
A calf was reported ashore on Tuesday in Provincetown as well, which was also safely put back in the water.
