Barnstable officials are reminding residents that sewer installation work begins today on West Main Street.
The work will take place from Route 28 to Strawberry Hill Road, and run from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
Only local and emergency traffic will be allowed to pass through the work area.
Businesses will still be accessible by way of Route 28.
