Employer confidence in the Bay State remains steady, according to figures released for November.
The Associated Industries of Massachusetts Business Confidence Index stood at just over 51, down two-tenths of a point from the previous month.
The figure keeps the confidence level in optimistic territory, while below 50 is considered pessimistic.
More than 140 employers are surveyed for the AIM.
The group finds strong consumer spending over the summer helped the state and national economies, and interest rate increases should slow the economy and prevent a recession.
