Chatham officials have closed Crows Pond landing until further notice, following a fuel spill.
The spill was discovered about 25 feet from the water's edge Monday evening.
While the pond does not appear to have been affected, the landing is closed out of caution.
The state Department of Environmental Protection has been notified, but it is not known how long the cleanup will take.
Anyone with information on the spill is asked to contact local authorities.
