Brewster Town Meeting Completes Busy Agenda

Brewster residents met in a special town meeting.

Twelve of the 14 agenda items were approved, including the spending of over three-million-dollars for capital projects, and two-and-a-half-million for a road improvement project on Millstone Road.

Residents voted down two proposed short-term rental bylaws.

These would have required annual registration of such rentals with owners paying an annual fee, and restricting the number of such rentals a property owner may operate.

Officials spoke against the proposals saying the issues need further examination and discussion.
