Local Experts Suggest Vaccinations To Combat Viruses

Coronavirus cases on Martha's Vineyard have lessened from a summer rise, but officials at the hospital in Oak Bluffs say it is time to receive vaccinations for both influenza and RSV.

Rates of these are low at this time, but case numbers are expected to increase toward the end of this month, especially as residents spend more time inside and gather for the holidays.

In addition to the vaccines, residents are urged to receive an updated COVID-19 shot if they have not already done so.
