Ophelia Does Slow Crawl Through New England

What was once Tropical Storm Ophelia has weakened after bringing heavy rain and gusty winds to the Northeast over the weekend.

Forecasters say Ophelia, which is now a post-tropical cyclone, will linger in the region today as it moves offshore.

The storm brought down trees and left tens of thousands of customers without power.

Some coastal communities were flooded out by the dangerous storm surge.

More rain is forecast to start the workweek in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
