Barnstable School Officials Promise Response To Weekend Incident

A Barnstable High School student allegedly brought an unloaded gun to a football game on Friday.

The Cape Cod Times reports the student was arrested for the alleged possession of the weapon which was apparently not brandished.

The Barnstable Public Schools superintendent and the B-H-S principal informed parents that there will be a response to the incident that is consistent with the school code of conduct.

More information is expected later today.
