We are getting a better understanding of what could be on the Massachusetts Statewide ballot for referendum questions.
Proponents still need to get more signatures, but so far- there are more than 30 different questions that would in turn create 38 more laws if voters approved them.
Among them- a law that would make it easier for the Massachusetts State Legislature to be audited.
Another would reform MCAS, still another would allow cities and towns to better regulate rents.
Voters could also decide whether they want to suspend the gas tax if gasoline prices get above a certain threshold.
The thirty plus questions are big enough but does not take into account 12 more ballot questions that were already in the process that were filed last year.
