Airport Manager Fined By Commonwealth

The manager of Nantucket Memorial Airport is being fined by the commonwealth.

The Cape Cod Times reports Noah Karberg has to pay four-thousand dollars because he violated a conflict-of-interest law.

The Massachusetts Ethics Commission says Karberg did not disclose his relationship as a customer with Nantucket Marine when the business was awarded a lease of airport land.

Karberg was named to the manager position in January.

At the time of the lease which came under review, he was the assistant.
