Word from the Diocese of Fall River that St John Paul II school has a new principal. Paula Mannering Daly has been tapped as the principal for Prepatory grades 5 through 8. She is joining the school from St Joseph Prep High School in Boston. She has been a teacher for 20 years and can teach math in grades 5 through 9 and high school.
“I am so thrilled to be leading the middle school grades as these are such formative years for students as they enter as young kids and are prepared for the responsibilities of our high school,” indicates Ms. Daly. “Students can learn and achieve given the right support and environment. Families are the primary educators of their children, and valuable partners in the learning process. It has always been my goal to keep my students engaged, help them find their own gifts, and to use these gifts to become good and global citizens. Classrooms should be an environment where every student is known, feels accepted and can succeed.”
Ms Mannering Daly has a double master's degree in education from Emmanuel College and a second Educational Leadership master's from Boston College. She will live in Hyannis.
