Another emergency airplane landing was made on Martha's Vineyard on Sunday, the second this month.
A pilot was able to avoid injuries when they landed in a state forest clearing about a mile away from Martha's Vineyard Airport in West Tisbury.
The pilot from the first crash on July 15th, which happened at the airport itself, has died.
Randolph Bonnist of Norwalk, Connecticut passed away last Thursday night at Boston Medical Center.
His wife, Robin, took over the controls to make the landing.
