The replacement of the Sandwich Boardwalk is continuing to make progress.
The Enterprise reports work to demolish the storm-damaged structure has been ongoing this month.
The next step will be the contractor installing piles into the marshland near Town Neck Beach.
In the meantime, Sandwich officials say the boardwalk's popular jumping-off spot will remain open throughout this summer.
