The Cape Cod Association is backing local college kids, handing out over $500,000 in scholarships to nearly 340 local students.
Graduating High School Seniors and previous recipients already enrolled in college are eligible for the awards.
“We are proud to be part of our community’s history and future by investing in the long-term success of young people who live here,” said CCA President David W. Foster, Jr.
The money can be used on undergrad courses at colleges and technical schools.
The Cape Cod Association may hit the $9-million mark in scholarships awarded when the program celebrates its 20th anniversary next year.
