On The Cape it is a welcome first for those who just hate swimming in the ocean.
The Cape Cod Times reported overnight that the town of Brewster is just a few days from opening up the region's first municipal pool.
The ribbon cutting ceremony is set for Sunday at 1pm.
The swimming will then go on until six.
