Classes are canceled today at a school in Marion after a sprinkler pipe broke and caused extensive water damage.
The damage was reported last night at Sippican Elementary School.
Firefighters quickly responded and shut off the second floor sprinkler.
School officials are praising the fast actions of firefighters who prevented the damage from being much worse.
The district is still making a decision on classes for the rest of the week.
