The Environmental Protection Agency is expanding the options for public comments on a proposed machine gun range at Joint Base Cape Cod.
The EPA is anticipating a large turnout for a public meeting on Wednesday, so they are also accepting comments via email and voicemail.
The federal agency released a draft opinion on the Mass Army National Guard proposal in April which determined the machine gun range might contaminate the sole-source Cape Cod Aquifer, creating a significant public health hazard.
Tomorrow's meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Center for Active Living on Quaker Meetinghouse Road in Sandwich.
