Voter approval of a new senior center in Chatham this year remains a possibility.
The Cape Cod Chronicle reports a debt exclusion for the proposed facility passed at an election on Thursday, which means it could be brought back in a special town meeting.
Last weekend's regular town meeting voted down the new senior center on Main Street which has a price tag of about ten-and-a-half-million dollars.
The same proposal was also defeated in 2021.
