Nantucket residents are voting at a town meeting on Saturday on a zoning proposal that could reduce short-term rentals on the Island by 95-percent.
Nantucket has seen a spike of Airbnb and VRBO rentals in recent years.
Supporters of the proposal say traditional vacation rentals would not be affected, but the Alliance to Protect Nantucket's Economy warns passage would be economically devastating.
