A new school has opened on Cape Cod.
The student population at Dennis-Yarmouth Intermediate Middle School was combined from Mattacheese Middle School in West Yarmouth and Nathaniel Wixon Innovation School in South Dennis. D-Y Intermediate is located on Station Avenue in South Yarmouth.
A ribbon-cutting is set for Saturday.
