Saturday is National Drug Take Back Day, which is an effort to take unwanted prescription drugs out of circulation.
Unwanted, unused or expired prescription drugs can be brought to any police station in the area between 10AM and 2PM.
Among the participating police departments are in Brewster, Wellfleet, Sandwich, Eastham, Provincetown, Bourne, Falmouth, Barnstable, Dennis and Harwich.
Police say removing these drugs from society help to prevent accidental poisoning, overdoses and abuse.
