A new town manager is being appointed in Orleans.
The Cape Cod Chronicle reports the select board unanimously voted to hire Kimberly Newman at its meeting last week.
Newman's resumé includes the town manager of Mendon, Massachusetts and city administrator of Lyndon, Kansas.
She will replace John Kelly, who retired from the Orleans office in December after 26 years on the job.
