The Wareham town clerk is resigning.
WBZ-TV reports Michele Bissonnette is blaming last year's VOTES Act which expanded mail-in and early voting in Massachusetts.
Bissonnette says she does not have enough staffing to execute the new law.
She is stepping down in June.
