An Eastham Police Officer and a U.S. Park Ranger are being recognized by the U.S. Department of the Interior. Office Victoria Wagner of the Eastham Police Department and Ranger Seth Digiacamo received awards for rescuing a swimmer in distress on May 30th, 2021. They both entered the treacherous waters at Nauset Light Beach and pulled the man out. Wagner and Digiacamo were recognized at a ceremony at the Cape Cod National Seashore visitor center last week.
