On Saturday morning around 7am, a fire consumed a Nantucket Bed and Breakfast, the Veranda.
The Nantucket Fire Department said in a statement that the fire broke out in the area of North Water and Step Lane in the downtown core district of the Island.
In the videos taken by Nantucket Current you can see the Veranda house on fire as well as some of the surrounding buildings.
Fire fighters from Yarmouth, Hyannis and COMM fire fighters went over to the island to lend a hand in putting out the fires. The cause of the fire is under investigation
