The Dennis Police Department is launching its brand-new Junior Police Academy.
It was created for area youth interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement, providing an introductory course on policing, criminal and motor vehicle law, patrol procedures and more.
Sgt. Ryan Carr says it was also created with the intention of building positive relationships with the local youth.
The academy runs from July 25th thru August 5th.
