The Sharktivity app, created by the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy has been upgraded to allow beachgoers to report shark sightings.
The sightings will be verified by the experts over at the New England aquarium, like Dr. Nick Whitney.
Whitney says the new feature will not only help scientists study and learn more about great white sharks, but it will also promote public safety.
