A fugitive wanted for domestic violence and terrorizing a victim has been found living on a sailboat off Fairhaven.
Eric Waite was wanted by New Bedford Police, and investigators learned this week that he may be staying on the boat.
Federal Marshals and a State Police Fugitive Task Force moved in on Tuesday and arrested Waite on the sailboat near Pope's Island.
Waite reportedly provided law enforcement with a false name, but police say they were able to confirm his identity and place him under arrest.
