The Barnstable County Commissioners and the Assembly of Delegates can’t seem to come together on a plan for the overall disbursement of $41-million in federal pandemic relief funding sent to the County.
According to a statement from the Commissioners, the Assembly wants to disburse funding directly to the towns, while the Commissioners want a more structured plan for spending the money.
The Commissioners say they are setting up a portal for towns to apply for grants and set up an advisory board.
