A solar company wants to develop a solar overlay field at 420 Nathan Ellis highway in Mashpee.
Director of Land Development for Nextgrid Daniel Serber proposed plans to install a 9-megawatts solar overlay field at a recent select board meeting.
However, board members were concerned about financing the plan.
They asked Serber to come back to next week's select board meeting with a more comprehensive report on the numbers.
