Harwich fire crews were called just before 8:30 last night for reports of a fire at 87 Great Western Road.
Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the structure, all occupants of the residence were outside.
The fire was knocked down in about 20 minutes with help from several other area departments.
One person was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with non-life threatening injuries; the home suffered significant damage.
The cause is believed to have been electrical.
