The West Falmouth fire station is temporarily closed.
The Town Manager's office says fire personnel and equipment have been relocated because of a flooding incident in the fire department basement on Tuesday.
A failed water heater is being blamed.
The town says the heater, boiler and electrical switch will all need to be replaced.
