The Massachusetts Auditor's Office is releasing a report on the Nantucket County Sheriff's Department.
The audit finds the Sheriff's Office has been deficient in the handling of civil matters such as serving a summons, complaint, subpoena or other notices.
The auditor's office says the NCSD is taking actions to address the recommendations made in the report.
