The Environmental Protection Agency is including public participation in the review of a proposed machine gun range at Joint Base Cape Cod.
The federal agency is working to determine what kind of impact the machine gun range would have on the primary water source in the area.
The EPA anticipates releasing a determination next spring and says it will open a 30-day public comment period at that time.
