Settlement Reached In Mashpee Cell Tower Lawsuit

A settlement has been reached on a lawsuit filed over a proposed cell phone tower in Mashpee.

The Enterprise reports the developer, blue sky towers, will choose a different part of the Mashpee fire station property on Red Brook Road to place the monopole structure.

The lawsuit was filed in 2019 by abutters of the proposed tower against the Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals granting a height variance.

The tower will be 150 feet tall.
