There's an update on a controversial housing development in Falmouth.
The Enterprise reports a Barnstable Superior Court judge last month affirmed a decision from the Massachusetts Housing Appeals Committee that a new comprehensive permit must be issued for the Liberty Green Apartments on East Main Street.
The developer had complained that the original permit issued by the Falmouth Zoning Board of Appeals was too restrictive, and the State Housing Committee agreed.
The 40-B affordable housing development was proposed back in 2016.
