State Education Commissioner Wants All Students To Wear Masks

The State Education Commissioner wants all students in the state over the age of five to wear masks in school through September.

Commissioner Jeff Riley's plan calls for middle and high schools lifting the mask mandate when 80% of students and staff are vaccinated.

Unvaccinated students and staff at those schools would still have to wear masks.

The proposal will be voted on by the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education tomorrow.
