An emergency Nantucket Board of Health meeting is being scheduled for this morning to consider a mask-wearing mandate, according to a report from the Inquirer and Mirror.
The town Health Director says wastewater analysis is predicting an increase of Coronavirus cases for the island.
The Health Board, which is also going to consider occupancy limits, is meeting at 11:30 a.m.
Covid cases have remained mild and have mostly been fully-vaccinated individuals, according to a spokesperson for Nantucket Cottage Hospital.
