The murder trial for the suspect accused of killing a Cape Cod police officer is less than a week away.
Thomas Latanowich of Somerville is charged in the shooting death of Yarmouth Police Sergeant Sean Gannon in 2018.
Officers were trying to serve Latanowich an arrest warrant at a home in Marstons Mills.
Latanowich's jury trial in Barnstable Superior Court is scheduled to begin August 2nd.
