The Sandwich Board of Selectmen recently had a meeting interrupted by a car crash near the town hall.
The Enterprise reports the board was in executive session on June 18th when someone burst in saying a car had crashed into mill creek and that the driver needed help.
According to a recap from Selectman David Sampson, fellow board member Robert George, a former firefighter and paramedic with the Sandwich Fire Department for nearly fifty years, extracted the woman out of the car.
